Detecting fruit powder quality with near-infrared spectroscopy

To determine the quality of baobab fruit powder, usually expensive, time-consuming and invasive methods are used.

Researchers of the BAOQUALITY project have developed a rapid, non-invasive method using near-infrared spectroscopy. The device can be used in the laboratory as well as in the field.

The video shows how this device can be used compared to conventional methods.
